I'm sorry that so many of my posts of late have been bummer material. But those are the times we live in. While I appreciate the vibrant, fierce beauty of the day lilies in my back yard, and can pause to admire even the cabbage moths in my vegetable garden - got to admit, those little white wings fluttering above and beside the swelling green globes are awfully pretty, despite what they portend for my future cabbage crop if I don't take action - there's also this: the most recent Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories accupied since 1967. I wish it were as easy to obtain justice against the governmental and corporate murderers as it is to fend off the cabbage moths.
