Help me celebrate the publication of my new book, The View From the Other Side of My Head! The book is a chronicle of my early education in shamanic trance. In prose supplemented by poetry, it describes what it was like for an elderly, Jewish, agnostic lawyer to stumble into the dreamworld. Come to Phoenix Books, at 89 Church Street, Burlington, Vermont, the evening of Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. I'll read from the book, converse about shamanism with my teacher Wendy S. Halley, answer questions from the audience, and of course sign copies. The bookstore is charging $3 for admission to the event, which can be applied to the price of the book.
